What to expect at your appointment

Osteopathic Initial Consultation

All new patients come for an initial consultation first. In this appointment, we will talk about what has brought you in for treatment, and go through a medical history, examination and any special tests you may need before we determine a personalised treatment and management approach for you.

Standard Osteopathic Consultation

Once you have seen Caroline for an initial appointment, all subsequent appointments are Standard Osteopathic Consultations. In this appointment, we will discuss what has brought you in for treatment, and perform any tests and examination we need to before tailoring a treatment plan to suit you. 

Please note: if it has been more than 24 months since your last appointment, or you have had a lot happen in your medical journey since the last appointment, you may need more time. So book in for an initial appointment.

For all Osteopathic Appointments​

It is advisable to wear stretchy or loose comfortable clothing. There is always the option to remove your outer garments to make soft tissue massage more comfortable and accessible, but this is a personal choice and is absolutely not necessary.  We will discuss this with you during the consultation.

Private Health care rebates are available to those with ancillary cover for Osteopathy. The rebate amount and conditions will be determined by your private Health insurer.
