A bit about me

My passion for Osteopathy began many years ago, after finishing an Arts Degree at The University of Melbourne. I came across Osteopathy in some of my research and it was love at first sight. I enrolled to study Osteopathy at RMIT and the learning has not stopped since. Osteopathic philosophy resonates with my beliefs, particularly, that we all have an innate capacity to heal.

This belief, coupled with my deep interest and fascination in how we hold our experiences in our body, and how these 'embodied experiences' can manifest in lots of different ways, has led me to train in Somatic Experiencing (or SE). SE is a method developed by Dr. Peter Levine for resolving and relieving the symptoms of shock, stress and trauma which accumulate in the body. SE sits alongside osteopathy beautifully, bringing another lens and understanding to what may be occurring in the body.  As well as being able to bring this knowledge to enrich my osteopathic consultations, I am also offering pure SE consultations.

If you are interested in doing this kind of work, or bringing elements into your osteopathic care, chat with me, or feel free to book in for an SE consultation.

I have found my regular practice of Mindfulness Meditation to be of great benefit in being present for my patients, and for helping them to be present for themselves.

Outside of work, I love to be by the ocean, by rivers, or in nature, surrounded by my beloved family. I love to surf, and have recently discovered that I quite like fishing too!

My desire is to help my patients reconnect with their health and restore their sense of wellness, balance and harmony. I look forward to meeting you and helping you towards health.
